The club is run on a not for profit basis and relies on volunteers to keep things running smoothly. There are a large number of roles including Head Coach, President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Minute Secretary, Membership Secretary, Young Person Commitee Representative, Teaching Group Representative and Squad Representative. You can also help on the general commitee - no experience neccessary as training is provided! You can find a list of the current GASC Executive Committee and volunteer posts members here.
The club is committed to the promotion of excellence in swimming and the fostering of a sense of individual achievement and sporting fairness within a competitive yet supportive environment. These objectives are incorporated within the swimmers and parent code of conduct, coachs and teachers code of conduct, volunteers and officials code of conduct and the mobile phone policy.
